They advertise, "cash back... Yea!"
Problem is that most of their goods are MUCH overpriced.
I had a bunch of points to use that were going to expire... use 'em or lose 'em.
I ended up getting Crucial MX500 1TB SSD for $122 worth of points which was selling at a good price elsewhere for $85. I checked out dozens of other products... ALL overpriced. IOW... "cash back" at Rakuten ain't FREE money.
Suggest shopping prices before falling for Rakuten's "cash back".
(Note... I DID get one really good deal from Rakuten on 4 monitors... that's where I acquired the points... but in checking out prices since, I was fortunate that one time.)
