You got me -- you're too smart to fool. The new Radio Shack won't be using old Radio Shack computers from 1977!

The two 5.25-inch floppy drives could hold up to 2.4 MB total at any one time.

Of course, back in those days, software would sometimes instruct users to switch disks to keep some of the storage temporarily offline.

I think another limiting factor was the 4KB standard memory plus the optional 32KB memory with the expansion interface below the monitor.

I like the way the power button was placed near the screen so you can see it at all times lol.
Oh man times have changed...

I used to think being able to play Oregon Trail was as good as it got. Then my parents bought me a 40MB computer with a CD ROM and the "Intel Inside", I was blown away lol.

I was given a TRS-80 keyboard as a kid, which was ancient when it was already given to me. And when I got a Commodore-64... I was so envious of those rich-kids who had the C-128 version.

As for Radio Scrap, they are still around, we just call it the Source now.
