Racism on ET

After living on this earth for 43 years, I have only been able to identify two races of people. And those "races" are called the decent and the indecent. And those two races permeate every single ethnic group on the planet. Just because a man has black skin doesn't make him indecent, and a man whose skin is white as snow can certainly be indecent with a heart full of evil. So "races" as I define them, are not groups that one is born into. Every person must earn his way into either the decent race or the indecent race through his interactions with the rest of humanity.

And with that said, I am moving this thread over to the P&R forum.

Quite seriously, some of the discussions here wouldn't last long in Canada, because very few people see colour, politics, and ethnic backgrounds the way some Americans still do ( as evidenced by the posts on here ). I suppose one could just laugh it off and understand certain portions of the US community are just ignorant, but when it's hate based talk I can't think it's all that positive for the world in general.

Given how some aspects of the US are quite modern and obviously many Americans are highly educated and socially progressive, I am amazed how utterly backwards some citizens ( and maybe their communities ) remain. It's like America has more then just financially created slums, it also has moral slums out there as well.

So consider me shocked by the backwards ideas, more what I'd expect in a third world country then the US.

Having worked in Canada for many years, I will agree with you that most urban cities in Canada are very diverse. Canada has attracted people from around the world (India, China, etc.) to reside and work in Canada.

However I will have to disagree with you that "some of the discussions here wouldn't last long in Canada". All one has to do is go to one of the more active discussion forums in Canada (e.g. urbantoronto.ca) to see the n word and many other negative racial terms used hundreds of times in discussions about race.

Yes, of course, Canada has the Canadian Human Rights Commission (CHRC) that any citizen can lodge a complaint with if they believe they have been discriminated against in any way. Naturally this commission has a record of only pursuing complaints filed by minorities and Muslims. The Commission has also been regularly criticized over its investigations of alleged hate speech as well as its procedures regarding admissibility of evidence. It appears the CHRC believes that minorities & Muslims can say anything about others and it is free speech but if anyone says anything about minorities & Muslims then they are violating the law & need to be locked up. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canadian_Human_Rights_Commission_free_speech_controversy

Naturally, Canada is the land of "microaggression" complaints for the slightest perceived offense at a University. Sadly by university rules, whites can not be victims of microaggression - only minorities.

Sadly, Jews are suffering significant oppression in Canada. Jews are regularly being attacked by Muslim "protestors". Muslims are regularly allowed to verbally chant "Death to the Jews" at universities, and Jews are not allowed to speak publicly in their own defense on university property. Under pressure by Muslim factions tied to extremists, most Canadian Universities have eliminated all ties with Israeli Universities. Canadian Universities have also directly donated money and support to extremist groups such as Hamas. Nearly all the Jewish centres at Canadian universities have been closed due to a long string of arson attacks from 2009 to 2014. And what do we hear from the CHRC about all of this? Not a word.
 
The United States of America elected a person of color to it's highest office in the land - President. And it took a significant white vote to do it. When will Canada or a major European country elect a person of color to it's highest office - especially when the voting majority is white ? Almost 30 years ago, the United States executive and legislative branch ( significantly white and male back then ) approved a person of color to be Chairman and highest military ranking officer of the largest and most powerful military force ever seen on this earth. Twenty years ago, persons of color were Secretaries of State and Chief White House National Security Adviser as I recall. Again, could Canada or a major European country with a majority white population say that ?

I see more diversity and more opportunity for females and persons of color in the United States than ever. I see more mixed race marriages in the United States than ever. I see persons of color idolized in popular culture like never before in the United States.

Personally, I believe that a person of color with a decent education and who conducts him or herself with dignity and respect towards others has more opportunity in the United States at this moment in time than in any other place in the world. The world is your oyster in the good 'ole USA.

YMMV depending on your attitude. The thing about hate and loathing is that it hurts the person holding it the most. Ignorance and stupidity and criminal thuggery knows no race barriers. Never has, never will.

As long as he is ever-vigilant re white supremacists, he may have a chance. Otherwise, he may be dead long before he ever has a chance to take advantages of those opportunities.

I see some of the resident leftists are trying to dictate the rules of engagement. Used a post of mine to do so. I'm honored. Sorry, but it ain't gonna' happen. I learned long ago that if you allow your enemy to dictate the rules of engagement, you lose.
See here, the left wants everyone to believe that some thug like Michael Brown and every other 18 year old black kid are exactly the same. They want you to believe that Al Sharpton and Dr. Ben Carson are exactly the same. They want you to believe this on skin color and skin color alone. They want you to believe that there is no difference between a nigger and a black man, but there is a difference, a big f'n difference, and the niggers need to be identified so decent black people can get on with there lives. I will point this out whenever, and wherever I feel it is appropriate to do so. The point needs to be made and it will continue to be made until the left gets it through their thick fucking skulls that there is a difference between a nigger and a black man, and they're not doing the black man, or the country at large any favors by lumping everyone together based on skin color.
We have a serious problem in this country when the president calls in a race baiting hustler like Sharpton to lead some "conversation" on race relations. Let me be the first to engage in that "conversation". I don't give a shit what the niggers have to say, what their grievances are, or what they want. If Sharpton is your representative, this "conversation" is DOA.

The typical response of left wing multicultural apologists: any criticism of non-white minorities is labeled as fascist or racist. But those days are coming to an end in the western world, people are fed up with it. In France, Germany and the UK the disgust with muslims is coming to a boiling point.
