First of all, I was merely trying to help Achilles and Money, who are apparently clueless as to how others can view themselves as "victims" of slavery.

I simply attempted to help them through their ignorance by providing an example that perhaps they could relate to.

Republicans blame "Liberals" for their problems every bit as much as Blacks blame Whites for their oppressions.

I thought that maybe if they could see that others- possibly including themselves- do the same thing every day, then they might be able to come closer to an understanding of why so many act like they are victims.

And, What did you do to help Money and Achilles, while they were struggling in their perplexity?

Once again you chose not to help but instead you would rather sit back and try to lay traps- adding to their confusion by twisting words as you blatantly did mine.

Which brings me to my second point; It was You that made this about whether or not a blame has been cast on President Lincoln for many of the issues that piss-off Republicans.

I forwarded no such idea, but still provided adequate and reasonable evidence that blame has indeed been cast on Lincoln many times in many ways for many different offenses.

I did this to assist you in your apparent ignorance and/or denial.

Am I blaming AAA or Ron Paul, and a slew of others for casting blame on another party?

Am I blaming the Blacks for doing the same thing?

Or am I simply trying to clarify a matter which yourself and others seem to have a very difficult time grasping?

How do blacks convince themselves they're "victims" when slavery ended 150 years ago? It's so incredibly self destructive. And then the ghetto criminal culture they glamorize and emulate? It's completely fucked. My heart goes out to them on one level. There's only one God. But most of these guys have painted themselves into the corner and shot themselves in the foot! Twice!!! It's fucked man.

It's easy to claim victimhood.... Requires no thought or intelligence. Just the ability to spot an opportunity when it arises...

You'll have to forgive me if I was a bit excessive in my retort, but as you hadn't made a clear acknowledgment of your misunderstanding, I wanted to make sure the waters which had been muddied became once again settled.

I've learned in my experience that at times this means things will need to be explained multiple times in multiple ways, but perhaps that's not always the case.

If it helps, I do plan on cutting back on my monster beverage intake.

He's probably unaware that Lincoln stated categorically that starting a war with the south had absolutely nothing to do with freeing the slaves and absolutely everything with forcing the south to collect import taxes. Just like he wasn't aware that MLK didn't even use his real name.

Technically it was never a war, as the U.S. had never declared war, but rather the U.S. squashed a massive rebel uprising.

Of course you are entitled to your opinion, but it should be known that it was the southern rebel army who first attacked the United States troops at Fort Sumter.

This is well documented, even by the south.

While there may be some truth that the war for Lincoln had to do with a lot more than the abolition of slavery, this war was still very much about the south wanting to keep their rights to slavery, as they knew they would be abolished if they gave in to the Union.

So what it really boils down to is this- the south didn't want to pay taxes to the union, they didn't want to give up their slave trade, and they didn't want to do anything but make up their own rules, so they attacked.

After their surrender, most even swore an oath apologizing for their crimes to humanity, and promising to never do such horrible things again as enslave people. (There are some fascinating and striking parallels to what the Nazis went through in their rise and defeat).

Of course, there are those who believe their grandfather's stories about how Lincoln started the war, and is to blame for the death of hundreds of thousands- when all along, it was the south who should have long ago given up such a corrupt living, without the need for all that blood shed.
