I saw that regime (and several other communist nations they took over) in person pre-Cold War. What they did in their own nation and to other parts of Europe in unconscionable. The U.S. hasn't been perfect, but the downright toppling of nations and installing communist regimes done by the USSR (and what happened later) isn't even close to the same thing.i did and lived under that regime. That is why I said Russian mostly killed their own, outside aggression is still rare outside of forming Soviet Union.
What we did specifically in Iraq as one example, is an humanitarian tragedy. So we kinda can not say we are all that innocent.
