lol. Shame. Rip.By the way, I heard it's inventor died while he rode it. Found his body in a lake with his Segway years ago....
(that's a stupid way to go, can't help but laugh & the irony, of that being the investor)

Not very safe or secure, not very user-friendly and very limited in usage when it comes to escalators, stairs, uneven surfaces.
Segway's usage is very limited, only to white collar yuppies who are pretty much the only ones who can afford it and are too lazy or too much in a hurry to walk inside huge office buildings with 100% smooth walking surface. Once you are outside, it's not very safe or secure and you are vulnerable to weather elements and it's a pain to use on public transit (would've been lot more useful if they included stair-climbing capabilities when being carried around stairs).
Limited usage + expensive = very limited market ---> Dropping out of favour. Surprised the product lasted this long.
People need to bring tricycle back, the ones with one wheel at the front and two at the back. Very handy for transporting kids around and shopping around town especially if they have weather-shielding covers. Would be even better if they are electric.
