A close friend of mine passed away and will be buried today. He deserved better than life gave him, but he made the most of it. He was only 58.
Former Marine, Nam Vet, lost an eye in combat. High School drop out that went on to get a college degree, enjoyed some success, and never forgot where he came from. He was my friend and a damn good guy. I will miss him!

Sorry to hear this, but remember good friends make up for a lot of lifes' shortcomings! My youngest son is in Afganistan at the moment, ADF infantry, people such as your friend who lay it on the line deserve our utmost respect.

Thanks! I hope your son comes back safe and sound after he does his thing. Tell him this old Jarhead appreciates his service and sacrifice.
