R.I.P. - Don Bright

I traded at the LV office for a few months way back when so I got to know Don pretty well.
He was always upbeat, especially about the markets. RIP Don

I've been informed that Don Bright of Bright Trading passed away last night at the age of 65. A true pioneer in the prop trading industry, Don has a special place in my heart because he was the first person who stepped up and said, "We believe in what you're doing with ET, and we want to become a sponsor of your site." And that was well over a decade ago.

For as long as I knew him, he always struggled with his weight and overall health, even making fun of himself at times for being overweight. But no matter what he was feeling on the inside, he was always a light-hearted person on the outside who was pleasant to do business with and super fun to hang around.

My sincere prayers go out to his family and close friends he's left behind.

That's sad news, he's certainly one of the most respected posters on here and was always good natured and helpful. An ambassador of the art.
 
Met him a few years ago and almost went to work for him. A very knowledgeable man, humble and kind, very helpful to all traders. May God rest his soul...
