QuoteTracker To Be Finished End of 2011

I loaded Quotetracker onto a new computer and applied a previous fix for the backfill problem. It works fine with Interactive Brokers for currencies and most stocks but when I add some new symbols like MSFT and INTC I receive no data. Yet RMBS and 3 character symbols like DUK and XOM work fine. Any ideas?
 
A lot of changes needed to be done to the code dealing with IB API, including dealing with new ambiguity in the way QT was requesting some symbols. Being that there is nobody there to make those changes, some stuff just won't work, patched or not.

I loved qt before and trying to learn tos is well ok . but the screens I had on qt were so much more fluid, easier on my eyes and easier to manage .
 
Does anyone know of a reliable datafeed and of reasonable price for Quotetracker cause TD is discontinuing the datafeed for it ? Thanks

ETrade data works if you have an account with them, DTNIQ is another option, but the writing is clearly on the wall that it's time to be looking at MT or another alternative.

QT still being used even though it lost primary support in 2011 is a testament to its quality and versatility, but the fact remains it's now going to get ZERO support/updates going forward since MT (Jerry's new creation) is out which means it's just one data type change or JAVA mod away from being inoperable so risk in continued use of QT as the primary with no alternative goes up significantly.

You don’t have to torture yourself with TOS. Note that the Medved brothers basically wrote a QuoteTracker replacement: http://www.medvedtrader.com/

It is comparable to QT, but way more powerful and better functionality. And it will still work with Ameritrade QT is cut off
 
Well, poop! This will mess me up a little.

Right now I use Ameritrade plus QT's http quoteserver capability to take a simultaneous real time snapshot of each ticker in the S&P 500. The output is parsed to extract the last trade price and current daily volume of each ticker. A separate program is then run on the results for a market breadth type technical calculation.

Actually, for all its complexity, it should make better trade recommendations than it actually does. LoL! Ugh! But it's my program, so that's on me.

So basically, I'm looking for a simultaneous real time snapshot of a large set of tickers that can be used in a secondary program. Is there a comparable capability in MT? I can't find any specific information on whether it is or not.
