QuoteTracker To Be Finished End of 2011

@Appleseed

assuming you are referring to MT, there is a Frequency dropdown on top left - on the ribbon, MAIN tab. You can also use keyboard shortcuts - CTRL+1, CTRL+2
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
ON the ribbon (MT) I only see show/ hide ribbon
signal link group
start
edit port
customize Q.A task bar
Control 1&2 has no effect

you have the ribbon Hidden. Click on the Show Ribbon button.

NOTE: once the ribbon is visible, you can right click on the frequency button and select to add it to Quick Access Toolbar. In which case the frequency dropdown will show on the caption, even when the ribbon is hidden

Is anyone having trouble with QT and IB data. My IB data stopped has stopped working in QT (3.9.8a) although it's working fine in TWS (947.2). In QT I'm getting the "login failed" text, if I switch to TDAmeritrade the data resumes and works fine.

I've tried "forced re-login", restarting QT, checked the API settings in TWS. So far no solution.

barata, are you still running TWS and Quotetracker on a Linux PC? If so, how is that working out?

Hi Jerry, I've been using Quote Tracker for a while now with STock Watch streaming quotes, and there are some symbols that do not stream live with QT, for example TWTR, FB, YELP, GT, and a bunch of others. I'm able to get quotes at the stock watch website, so could this be a QT issue that I have to live with or do you think it's the data feed. StockWatch says it isn't them, but I just don't know. Thanks.

James, QT used Stockwatch's old way to specify symbol exchanges so most likely the symbol is not properly specified. Don't remember the details there. You would be better off just getting MT for use with Stockwatch. You do not have to do anything fancy to specify symbols (Just the symbol for US stuff and :CA suffix for Canadian).

Jerry, the API settings were good, and the next day the IB data started flowing again. It must have been an API glitch on their part.

Catoosa...I've never used Linux, but I have been using Windows 2000 for many years. I'm currently trying out WinXP while I work out a loss of access problem to my Win2000 installations.
