Jerry by default they were 60 e 40 anyway the intra chart show me 10 days.....i feel retarded..what am i doing wrong?

Msft stopped updating on 10/10/14
shows volume, historical charts, pressure etc all updated except chart
this is the only stock with the problem

if indicators like volume show, then most likely there is a bad quote and you have spike filter turned off. Is the scale on the side of the chart showing? If so, but with bad values, then try removing the highest or lowest point on the chart.

If no data shows, then it may be the routing issue with IB, where if for your account MSFT can have multiple routes, IB returns an error when QT tries to get quotes. If that is the case, nothing you can do about it. I know that happened with a few symbols, like IBM, CSCO, MSFT

2 hour backfill problem has ended for me.

Wonder if it is because Europe has returned to Standard Time a week before USA does?

Looks like IB changed something again in TWS, because my accumulated intraday data for CL, etc just disappeared. QT backfills some of the data to October 24 and then it disappears after about an hour of use.

Using TWS 944.3 & Java 1.6.0_06, so can't understand what went wrong:confused:. Anyone have any ideas?

Will see if daylight savings change on Sunday helps (fingers crossed, QT don't give up on me!!!)
 
@wpfund, if you are not using alerts or Paintbars, get Medved Trader to replace QT - The alerts and Paintbars is the only thing it doesn't currently have (working on that). PM me your email address and I can send it to you. That will certainly resolve the issues.
 
Thanks. I have been testing MT on & off for awhile now. The plan was to migrate to MT at the end of the year, but will have to make the move earlier it seems.
 
y, gotta take the big step. I still have to use QT myself since while developing MT I constantly have to restart, reload different settings, etc. So well aware of the issues.
