I must have missed something over the last few days. This looks like the "old" site, and the thread is back.

No images were attached, but I am familiar with what you are referring to.

Initially, we plan to implement the chart period and frequency options same as in QT, simply because we know the various interactions well and it would be the fastest thing for us to do. Having said that, the new UI will allow us a bit more flexibility, so we may add other options in the future.
 
@timtrader, we will have a beta testing period, when we announce it, sign up and participate - we will be welcoming both bug reports and suggestions.

I'm so relieved and grateful to know that you will be creating a new QT similiar trading platform.

I have done so much worrying as well as putting as much anger across at DT Ameritrade as possible since the day I learned QT would not be supported at some point.

Interesting to note however, last week I had to call TD Ameritrade because I couldn't log into my account through QT.

The support desk guy didn't try their usual line about QT being discontinued, but instead gave me the email address for QT support.

Anyway, they lose in the end for their utter disregard and stupidity when it comes to clients needs and finally the best will win in the end. WTG Jerry. I am so grateful! Thanks :)

I've been trying to get the Advanced Screener working (ver. 3.9.8) but I keep getting the following error whenever I attempt to update the files ... "There was an error updating the files. Please try again".

Advanced Screener is no more. TD Ameritrade killed stopped providing the data that that feature uses.

As for 3.9.8, if you wish to have backfill working again, get the 3.9.8a update posted here:

Thanks to "oldtimer" s remarks on an IB thread I thought the thread was dead.

Reading the last comments re Medved, I would like to ask how far this is going? Timewise, or beta , ceta.

Having been able to maintain since mid September 1997 QT data and watch and slightly participate on a few things on the old QT boards, paintbars , problems etc. etc.

Could you tell us something about platform implementation details.

Maybe a new Medved thread, or is that also planned in the new version, sure sounds nice.
