I've had it happen myself a few times. I just deleted the data files (CACHE\SDATA.DMP and CACHE\SNEWS.DMP) and that seemed to have fixed the problem. Not setup to debug QT anymore. And QT really was never tested with 60 days of data :). Don't know what gets screwed up there

As for Win 2000, sorry but doesn't seem like it will be supported. The new prog. will require .NET 4.0 and that does not support Win 2000. May be time to bite the bullet and change to Win 7. I can say from personal experience that it is very stable. And you don't have to have all the fancy stuff on. I turned off animations and a bunch of other stuff that just wastes time.

Just joined this thread. I am a longtime QT user because it sorts and charts better than any other program I have used, including subscription programs.

Question for Jerry. Will the Medved Trader feature the note column in the portfolios? Next to the awesome charting that feature was/is my favorite. :)

it will, and I will probably be making it editable inline. Once we get all the features needed for a first release, we may look at making more info editable inline.
 
HI Jerry,

any idea on why after RIMM changed symbol to BBRY
am not able to History backfill it either from yahoo or
bigcharts?

PS it is the only one am not able to H-backfill all the other
