QuoteTracker To Be Finished End of 2011

Have been having trouble logging, as mentioned on SI

Have now using vers 3.9.8a

Have just about HAD it in frustration.

I dearly love this program, words cannot express my love for it

How long must I ait for the new vers to appear? I heard it was sometime in2013, but when?

Have already tried Tradestation, Fido ATP, etc and none can compare to this program

Any help on this vers, or any help in getting the newest one would be greatly appreciated
 
I really can't be specific about to release dates. I can tell you for sure it is not going to be before Q3.

which datafeed are you using that you're having a problem with?

but when I used to be able to connect, the 1st choice, above those mentioned above, was Ameritrade

now, whenever Itry, I get the msg that I need name/password for access. Been giving that repeatedly each/every popup for many hours during the day.

I use QT on my aux. screen, so I can do other things on the main screen while these popups keep re appearing

any help wud sure be appreciated

You have 2 different passwords entered for the same account in QT, which is causing the conflict.

Go to OPTIONS/Data Sources menu, QUOTES tab. Select TD AMERITRADE and re-enter correct login, including re-typing the password.

Then, click on the TRADING tab and do the same thing there for the same account.

Can you please keep charts in new development version as they are in old version as much as possible?

The best thing about your QT is charts asset. There is nothing else in trading world (as far as I know and I tried) where I can get so many intra day (and historic) charts on the screen as with QT. And they can all be linked and they refresh instantly. Please, please, please, can you make ti the same in new version. I just hate it everywhere else, they have fancy charts but one or two took the whole screen and if I minimize them I don't see anything any more.

Also, can you keep the feature where I set up trend line alert on intra day chart and just buy moving the trend line I move my alert. I just love it!

Bottom line, I really really hope you can keep charts as they are! The only thing I would change is default dark blue background color of charts. But that's easy to change, attached in my version.
Idea, anyone wants to share their charts here? For fun and ideas of course :-)

Thanx much for that try...

I did as you suggested

I closed the program; reopened it

filled in anew my password when the popup appeared

I rebooted the puter

I now have the very same problem as before

I cannot login to backfill

I also went to Atrade acct and changed that permission as you told someone else

I also emailed Atrade to grant me access

Still have no ability to login to backfill

Any other suggestions?

Does anything work with the TD Ameritrade account? (streaming quotes, trading, etc)?

Are you able to login with that exact login info on the TD Ameritrade site?

If nothing works, but you are able to login on TD Ameritrade site, and you don't get any security certificate or other warnings in the browser, then it could be that your account is not enabled for API access. That would happen if you enable some Think or Swim specific functionality, or as ameritrade calls "Advanced" features on the account

As them if your account is enabled or able to access the API.
 
everything works with that user ID and password

Ive spent the entire day relogging in UNsuccessfully whever that popup appears, while using trade archtect and Fido ATP

Still wud prefer to use QT tho

looks to me that every solution has failed so far
