QuoteTracker To Be Finished End of 2011

Quote from KastyG:

QT was always great for beginners ..but real traders moved on long time ago

amibroker is very awesome, sierrachart for everyone else, ninja is great too

Another KNOW IT ALL that Knows NOTHING! Kasty Are you Blowingup 2012 son?

one thing about quotetracker, i'm able to have one layout for a bunch of windows open for charts as opposed to this ninja trader that has to have a separate window open for every chart i have up in it's layout. and i still haven't figured out how to expand or contract the charts on ninja with ease. maybe it can be done, but it should be user friendly obvious,....and it's not. i mean you click on that little eye glass, expand what you want, then have to click on it again to change it. that sucks. and holy crap, the size of that data box, could it possibly be any bigger? and where's the candle countdown indicator like quote tracker. on second thought, this ninjatrader thing needs work.

David,

Don't know about Indices - if you don't have S:$SPX or ^SPC in any of the portfolios, then it should work.

Level II - the Level I quote shows you the size of the best bid, not the sum of all the bids at the best price. you will notice that the Level I quote bid/ask sizes correspond to the *NBB entry on the Level II

Why is that? Seems really really dumb to only show 1 bidder. Is this what the feed delivers?

QT just shows whatever is coming from the datafeed. The level I quote shows Best Bid/ask, and their corresponding sizes

...move on

sierrachart is wonderful. amibroker is the Cadillac of backtetsres

RIP QT;you were great when i was just starting out but..

When I click on "update the files" in advanced screener,
I get "an error occured when updating the files".

It was working up until now. Anyone else having this problem?

Yes, I am having the same error.

QT is a masterpiece of efficiency and capabilities with visual clarity that gives immediate scope of stocks...

The poster who is saying it is for beginners is trading options not stocks IMO.. and reading his back posts I agree, he is talking out of his hat.

@rm3

TDA shut down Advanced Analyzer over a month ago it seems. QT Advanced Screener uses the same data, so basically it is no longer available.
