David,

What source are you using for the indices?

do you have the symbol for the S&P in the portfolio? Or ever had it in the portfolio?

Jerry,

>do you have the symbol for the S&P in the portfolio? Or ever had it in the portfolio<

About this last question...am not sure what u mean exactly...but i only have the S&P symbol in the index panel.

Also Jerry...let me ask u : do u know of any issue w the bid/ask size on level 2? I mean bid/ask size on the main windows always differ from the one of level 2 (source is the same). For example u see on the main screen for RFMD ask is 127 while on level 2 529...

David,

Don't know about Indices - if you don't have S:$SPX or ^SPC in any of the portfolios, then it should work.

Level II - the Level I quote shows you the size of the best bid, not the sum of all the bids at the best price. you will notice that the Level I quote bid/ask sizes correspond to the *NBB entry on the Level II

For a truly robust platform, i use Ninja. I can do anything i want with Ninja, and they get right on the phone when i can't!

I just can't understand why you are still dicking around with an obsolete program?

Because it's way better than ninjatrader who is for futures trading basically modified a little so you can do equity trading with it.

And what you're saying is misleading, there is NO HELPDESK YOU CAN CALL AT NINJATRADER YOU CAN ONLY EMAIL THEM.

Everything crashes on you with NT (it happens) just shoot them an email....

QT was always great for beginners ..but real traders moved on long time ago

amibroker is very awesome, sierrachart for everyone else, ninja is great too
