QuoteTracker To Be Finished End of 2011

Anyone know how to load IB data for expired contracts on to QT? This is possible with NT7, and wondering if it's possible in QT. Thanks.
 
I want to thank Jerry and all the other on this thread for tipping me on how to solve the backfill issue, and installing correctly the patch. i was desperate and now it works like a charm. just like a charm!!

QT is the top, and I have used it for 10 years. i am simply blind without it. i cannot function. so this is a big day for me. truly.

to give something back...are you guys aware that chartpattern.com created a little fantastic program that flips charts automatically? it is superlative, and you can give your specifications.

Now I cannot get historic charts to show dividends.
On the charts I have previoulsy opened the dividend dates
are shown but disappear when I use "clear chart data".

I have used the patch and the version shows 3.9.8a.
I am using the tda streamer and Yahoo as backfill.
Any one else having this problem?

Just put a fresh copy of win 7-64 bit on computer. Installed latest TWS from IB (924.3a). Now I get 3 pop-ups when loading QT (3.9.8a). 1) User Account Control - "do you want to allow the following program from an unknown publisher (stocks.exe) to make changes to your computer?" 2) Quotetracker Custom Browser "Quotetracker Registration Requirement" 3) QuoteTracker - Registration Required "Quotetracker must be registered in order to use Interactive Brokers for market data"

I have a TD account that links up and delivers the quotes just fine. It will not let me get quotes from IB. I went to the global config in TWS and enabled ActiveX and put in the trusted IP address (127.0.0.1) and the socket port is 7496. Everytime I hit the "start button I get the latter two pop-ups above.

I have BracketTrader that hooks up to IB fine. The new TWS is alot different than what I was using.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I just spent 1.5 hrs trying to get this thing to work. I post a message on a Saturday night and 5 minutes later I get a response. I proceed to fix the problem in 5 minutes.

Jerry never ceases to amaze me. Absolutely the best.
