QuoteTracker To Be Finished End of 2011

I don't have L II enabled on the IB account, so can't compare.

Meh... I prolly don't really need that shit anyways...

So then no idea why it would just go blank then?

No biggie... I may end up just using it more anyways.

And to be honest, IB's charts would prolly be fine for me. Just have concerns about running that many Java windows at the same time. Might be a little resource hungry?

Like I said, I do not have the problem that you are having. I can change the zoom all day and the trendline stays the same. I suppose that I could intentionally play around with the Snap to price % threshold setting and change the scale to arithmetic or logarithmic depending on whether I use straight lines or hi and lo points and get something that resembles what you are showing. Any charting software worth its salt would have those options and do the same.

Obviously you have a lot to learn about charting as you have the problem and cannot fix it. It is not Amibroker. Look in the mirror.

If he trades the same way as he uses software then it doesn't hurt to have another small fish in our wallets.

Possibly, since I still haven't found the answer.

But as I noted, my data subs haven't changed. Authorization would another issue but have received no notices from IB.

My hunch is that it's an IB issue that I just can't figure out. And to be honest, I'm not putting much effort into it either since I don't REALLY need it.

If someone wouldn't use a cracked version then there should not be any problems at all and all would work fine right from the start. I won't mention any incompetences since the video below speaks for itself.

Here you go http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OkujP853hks

That was demo version, hence the default djia chart ,so dont make things up
Some trendlines work, some dont ,depends on how close the joint points are .
Good luck with that.

No matter how many trendlines I draw and no matter where they are placed all stay at the same place they were drawn.
For the record in the example I was using the same data that you were using and same symbol and same placement of the trendline. Afterwards I have even used an old demo (same one that you have used. Well, if it was the case). Long story short many of all drawn trend lines all stay at the same position they were placed at. Now I can smell quite some incompetence too.

I stopped by the TD-Ameritrade/Think or Swim exhibit at the New York Trader's Expo. They had a lot of developer types there. I could not get a definitive answer, but based on the number of features they are working on to enhance the capabilities of the TD/TOS platforms, none of them believes that QT is being supported. They said the IT guys are probably keeping the web site up because the cost is inconsequential or no one told them to shut it down.

So I'd say it is gone.

JackR,

I would think QT would continue to work with IB data as long as IB did not change something on their end that prevented QT from using the IB data feed.
