I am on U.S. server. What version of QT and TWS do you have. I am running the latest and maybe I need to downgrade. Thanks.

I'm using 3.85E on QT, and 874.4 for IB, TWS.

The problem has been identified and communicated to IB. Their servers are not responding to QT requests for some reason. QT is on top of it.
 
Backfill screaming now. It seems that about midmorning IB servers come alive. Or maybe they finally resolved the issue once and for all (lol not). Thanks QT for lighting a fire under IB! :D
 
Phew! Was getting concerned with QT/TWS. But yes those are comforting words "All is right with the world now". Thank you.

I've had quite often problems backfilling Globex and Nymex futures, especially pre-market. And when it does work, the backfill produces a huge volume spike for the latest candle. Quite annoying.
 
There's definitely a problem going on. IB has made some further improvements to their charting. May just dump QuoteTracker. I'm tired of these problems.
