E Eldredge Oct 13, 2008 #1 I can't seem to get Quotetracker to make a good chart of $TICK using IB for data. The IB chart is okay, but the QT chart just has a spot here and there (using 15 second candlestick). Can anyone help me out?

M MandelbrotSet Oct 13, 2008 #2 That's exactly what it should look like. It looks better if you go out to 30 seconds, but one minute is best. Why would you want a 15 second tick chart? ... the information flits around too much to really be of use at that fractal anyway. Good Luck

E Eldredge Oct 13, 2008 #3 I changed the spike filter to 100 (thanks for the tip Jay), and it is more of what I wanted. I have been experimenting with using TICK to fine-tune my final entry when trying to catch a reversal. Like everything else, it works great sometimes.
