One neat little feature in QT is that you can disable quotes to your "other" Portfolio pages while continuing to receive quotes on the Portfolio page that you currrently have up on your main screen.
You can do this by going into "Data Sources" and making sure that the option "Fetch Quotes from other Portfolio" is not enabled.
You also have the ability to simply "stop" quotes to various Portfolios as well, while continuing to received quotes in other Portfolio pages, etc.
Simply go to the "Portfolio" tab and scroll down to the bottom of the menu where it stays to either "start quotes" or "stop quotes". You can set this option for each individual Portfolio watch list.
In this way, you will be able to seriously cut down on some of the bandwidth and power that QT is requiring/demanding of your data feed connection AND microprocessor and memory.
