Probably because L2 is pure fiction and no one uses it.
 
qt now claiming its an IB api problem with L2 for stocks not working in QT, but Futures ok.

does this hold water?

thats why I wanted to know if others were having the problem

TD better not kill QT, or I will pull my sizable 401K account immediately. QT is one of the best and most reliable packages around, and without question, Jerry Medved (& team), are probably the best support team in the universe. What the hell are they thinking ? I log into TOS, and it is the most non-inutuitive, aesthetically unpleasing piece of S/W that I have ever seen. It may be an options tool, but to me, it'll need 3 years of development work, to become half the tool that QT is.

I use QT for quotes/charts only and something about the latest update (3.9.7) seemed to break from the earlier versions and force broker login. It was highly annoying, so I reverted back to 3.9.6. I guess I'll be using this version permanently..

I actually have been using TOS and like the platform, if only they could fix the standby/reconnect timeout issue (if you go to standby, then resume, it'll ask to reconnect and then just hangs indefinitely).

Why the hell did they buy it? To kill competition. Sad to say, this is an American way of business.
 
Having same problem with data feeds Level 1 (don't use level2).
Getting same BShit total runaround from QT support/TDA. They tried to tell me some TOTAL BS about it was problem with MBtRAding data feeds server/program when it ran OK (standalone). Have e-mailed TDA/QT (sent logs etc.) over 5X in last week so they could "fix" it.. Each time another BS excuse!!! AND IT TAKES THEM BETWEEN 3HRS TO 24HRS just to get back to you.
Every time QT has been "upgraded" in last 12 mos. MAJOR BUGS exist & endless waiting time to fix it.
QT won't even connect/log in at all to data feeds(MBtrading) for over a week NOW since their last update.

Ive had it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ANYBODY USE NINJA TRADER (or other charting program) WITH MBTRADING ???

ANY SUGGESTIONS ???

ANYBODY HAVING SAME PROBLEMS THIS WEEK OR BEFORE ???
