Quotes in excel

Looking for a simple (if possible) way to get equity quotes in excel. I dont need real-time feeds. but what i need is the ability for the symbol to be referenced in another column. Every solution i have found gives me a bunch of other data or poor formatting.

ideally i am looking for something like:

A1=IBM A2=quote(IBM)
B1=AAPL B2=quote(AAPL)

so that i can place a symbol in one cell, and have a quote appear in another cell based on the reference. I am fine if its a external data source that requires manual refresh. This is more for a watch list/ snap shot look, not a trade trigger tool.
