Yeah limitdown, this is ET, what are you thinking being supportive of a fellow trader in trouble? You should be a cynical like 4Dtrader and the other keyboard warriors on here.

Maybe it's not time to quit, but I think you should in the very least pause and re-examine your approach. One thing you certainly have going for you is tenacity. Many of life's greatest achievements have come from those who just refuse to quit. You should look at the long list of failures Lincoln had before he became president.

I wish you a clear mind in finding your way.

Some people may find it ridiculous to keep going after losing for 8 straight years. Well, I was a losing trader for 8 years before I turned it around. I went bankrupt in the process, losing $300,000.

The glaring flaw in your strategy is your 1 point stoploss as many here already said.

In an ideal world, the RR should be 3:1.
When I trade the ER2, my reward/risk ratio is inverted. Yours is 1:1. Mine is 1:2. Sounds like it's a losing strategy?
That's why it works.

It seems the OP has two problems, psychology and keep repeating unsuccessful method. The latter maybe the ES and ER2 are not matched with his personality. Why keep trying to deal with the person whom his personality is completely different than yours? It will never work. Move on! Try something else that work well with your personality.

Just for your information, I have a hard time dealing with NASD stocks but a bit comfortable dealing with NYSE stocks.
