a few of us early commentators figured this out,

this Jasper6 thread is a composite of a few persons, not one person or their specific experiences alone....

so many comment banged their words against the wall, as it were in telling this avatar or composite fictious person to get out of trading, not knowing that this thread does not represent a normal singular person using all their faculties and operating in a sane manner

else wise, how would a person remain for 8 years without any profit or profitable experience from his trading endeavour?
 
I think he or they are trying to get some freebies. He's not willing to engage or reply to anyone trying to help unless there is a new edge that he's interested in. What a sham.
 
Look into arbitrage, while the returns may not be spectacularly high, at least it'll put you in the positive while you search for strategies of higher expected returns.

Educate yourself, learn the math.
 
The charitable response is the one that gives the benefit of doubt to the OP. I see no reason not to trust him. He says he made money in a business and has been living/trading off that for years. He received some good advice along with some ungracious responses. If anyone wants to toss him a bone then so what? That is there choice and their risk. I wish the OP the best of luck in turning around his trading.

It just so happens that he IS looking for a new edge. It is appropriate to respond to those posts. Personally, I would have ignored many of the posts here.

There was a guy who used to brag about his 1 pip a day strategy that got a lot of traders interested, they followed his method and finally losing it all at the end. I wondered if this is still the same guy. Even after eight losing years he’s stuck to his gun that it’s going to be a winning strategy. Wake up buddy, if you are for real get a life and drop trading because you are suck at it; “Look at the moon to get the big picture, not at your feet because you are missing everything.”

ok, let's say you even know what it is and how it trades,

oops, evidently its a futures contract...

then the first place you should be calling is not elitetrader threads,

but whom?

duhh,,

yeah, right!

your broker, where you actually clear trades through, he cares, not me,

to tell you what is happening with the ER2
