quick question: the trading times for SPX options?

anyone know what the trading times for SPX options are...appears to be live right now 545am pst..seems like a better alternative to trading SPY options with it's limited hours

315pm to 4pm ct Curb session
715pm to 815am ct Extendend hours

Most retail brokers don't allow access to these sessions, IB does.

bid ask gets a bit wider but still very good option to hedge overnight. IB is great

What happens during the curb session from 3:15 PM to 4 PM CT? I am seeing prices moving but we are not able to trade. Is this a session only for market makers or institutional traders to trade?

And only IB allows extended trading for retail traders? I thought most of the brokers allow it for retail traders.

One should be able to trade during curb session. Maybe your broker is faulty or provide less good service.

Some brokers have a lot of businesses like HF's, CTA's and FO's as their clients so they provide great execution services.
