Quick question, need computer help

Sorry guys i dont know where to post this but for some reason my computer has turned into this grey, kind of hazy white background, and its pissing me off

not sure if it shows up the same way, but i can barely see the text, its greyed out, like the letters arent black anymore, and the screen looks just greyed out, and fuzzy, i have no clue what i did here but my laptop is fucked it seems like.

Wish i could say that the old school tech fix "Unplug it and plug it back in" had worked but it didnt change it.

Do you see this effect only at this website (ET) or at all websites? Do you see it in your web browser only, or also if you open e.g. a text document or spreadsheet?

It happened to my monitor also. I installed update to resolve problem.

It could be the monitor, the video card, the video cable, or the computer.
First step is to isolate the problem. Try a different monitor, a different video cable, and if your PC has multiple video ports/cards, a different video port.
If running Windows, reboot the PC in safe mode (Google how to do that). Windows will the lowest level of graphics in that mode.
