i am quite familiar with nasdaq level2 but cant figure out the nyse thing

the reason i ask is because datek display my limit order only on isld even on listed stocks. I see that most of the volume are going thru to the specialist and nasd. I am thinking about switching brokers so my limit order would have a decent chance of getting fill.
