Hi Tom, I trade with oanda and apart from a few glitches with there app updates on the android phone I have had no problems as of yet so not sure I follow??

Oanda is a MM with NDD.. I've used them in the past. Their spreads are lousy, unusable for a day trader. But they have 3 levels of security (username, password, codes ) and that's good, not very common among brokers.

Like I say, does the job for me. Don't really think the broker is going to be your main concern when traiding currency pairs, lot more importat things to consider that if you got a good spread!

I meant it in good way, trying to be usefull. You will evaluate it yourself maybe after few years.

With DD broker you always have worse spread than with other types of brokers even if it looks same at first glimpse. It is up to you to do research.

Three level verification with security tokens / SMS verification is used with all serious brokers and banks as far as I know. Maybe with MT4 it is still not common, dunno.

I'm not sure I will be evaluating it in a few years! Like I said these are mainly minor details. Much more important things you should be focusing your attention on my friend

I have traded mainly Forex for the last 2 year's, its good but gets messy sometimes, stupid spikes here there and everywhere then crap ranging days followed by the odd great trending day that just runs and runs all day long

treat the spikes as your friend , not your enemy

Do your degree then and learn forex, you might not have what it takes to make it in forex
