Question of volume

i' d like to ask you a question(maybe simple for you),where i must watch to know the volume of a future? and for example if i'd like to open a position with 1000 contracts,where i must see to know if i can open it?

you are only 20 and want to trade 1000 contracts in futures?
how long are you already trading?
what is your trackrecord?
have you any idea how big your account should be before they will accept you as a client?

I hope you understand that trading 1000 contracts in the ES will cost you $50,000 for each point you lose. Today the first 30 minutes the range of the ES was about 14 points. So you could lose $700,000... of course you could win them too.... but I gues losing is more realistic than winning.

Look at the Bid/ Ask. That will show you how many contracts are currently waiting open for sale at each price level.
