Yes, there are. But even they were no match for Albert Labos.

Eventually it just gets tiresome, and one wonders what's the point? T2W also has private clubs, but that pretty much defeats the purpose of a trading forum, as does creating a group private thread. There is also the problem at T2W of tripping over vendors at every turn. That also gets pretty tiresome.

As much as i disagree with DB in multiple ways, i would never block him or anyone from commenting on any of my threads. Not to mention his 17k plus posts are good for the site-- who cares about the real motivation or actual value.

The markets are a jungle and if folks cant take flack on a message board, they will never survive in the real world of trading.

This is ongoing, childish, and as wrbtrader has pointed out, the internet erquivalent of white-trash behavior. Why Baron and the mods haven't sent a PM to buy1sell2 to have him cease this is beyond me. As anyone can see, the journal section is not what it was just a few months ago.

Being able to block specific users from your threads will be implemented this weekend.

Bottom line is that this should be welcomed by anyone who behaves in a civil manner. The only reason to dislike this change would be if you yourself knowingly engage in the sort of behavior that will likely result in getting you blocked from many discussions. Yes, a few have reservations. But seriously, so long as one engages in debate rather than attacks, what is there to fear? And I cannot be the only one who finds it amusing that the only two who have come out as "shocked" and "outraged" are the very two who have gone out of their way to make ET an unpleasant and unwelcome "trading" forum for price action traders I think Baron's analogy was spot on. I am looking forward to this change being implemented.

Probably more than compensated for by the numbers of those who will come back. The fact that Mark is interested in starting threads again is reason enough to move forward with it.
