Question for ThinkOrSwim Users ... is it me or does TOS bid lag Ameritrade Quote bid?

There might be a solution. This video is 3.5 years old so I don't know if the TOS option exists anymore. The following video discusses increasing the TOS available RAM to hopefully make TOS more responsive. The video recommends you have at least 8 GB RAM to increase the available TOS RAM:

I am not a TOS user. I have seen this lag mentioned several times:

Please post back and let us know if the TOS option still exists and if the RAM increase makes TOS faster.

The adjustment is still there. I've increased allotment and hope to notice an improvement tomorrow. Thank you Cypherdude!
 
Ram increase did seem to help this morning. It's 12:52 eastern and at the moment Ameritrade (not TOS) quotes are frozen as is their SP500, DJIA and NASDAQ ticker. Been that way at least 10 minutes, maybe longer, as i took a lunch break.

To help us at EliteTrader further understand the problem, could you describe your system, which Windows, CPU, amount of RAM, size of SSD or HDD, laptop or desktop?
