Question for the Athiests

Quote from stu:

No problem I can confirm NDE is completely true and real and proves the existence of the Mighty One..
I know 'cause I experienced it first hand.
My motorcycle and I unexpectedly parted company at 180 mph along the CenCal Coast Road. After Landing in Oregon, I remembered vividly flying down a long tunnel with a creamy pale light at the end of it. I could hear a voice calling - pasta for one It's not ready for you yet, go back ,go back. Then I could see His Supreme visage. Standing before me in all His glorious sauciness with a Transcendent Meatball grasped firmly in His Noodly appendage.

Coincidence? oxygen deficiency? trauma? dreaming? come off it.
The nurse said there was an unexplainable aura about me as I lay unconscious in intensive care. There was an atmosphere like an Italian kitchen throughout the whole ward. There was a presence of peace and pasta.

My NDE is unexplainable proof that alimentary paste is the Creator of all things.

Hmm, so many pastes, Contadina, San Marzano, Montali...?
Which is the (real) paste Stu?
I am making Ropa Vieja.

Quote from Lucrum:

(1)How do they get all those different animals in a zoo?

(2)Just another opinion but he may have had a little more "notice" than you're thinking.

"Though the Bible does not say, it seems reasonable that Noah employed a large group of workman to build the Ark. If Noah started building the Ark soon after God spoke to him, then the process of building the Ark may have taken close to 120 years."

For the skeptical, there are some logistical "issues" worth questioning.
No offense but you just seem to be focusing on the wrong ones.
there never was a flood so why would there of ever been an ark?

Quote from Gringinho:

It never seizes to amaze me when uneducated people start asking for simple solutions to some of the more complex phenomenons in the universe...

Yet, with tiny peanut-sized brains it seems people need the simplest of answers, so that they can ignore all the fuzz about "stupid things" like quantum mechanics or something called science, or keep striving to avoid an expanding knowledge. It simply wouldn't fit in a pocket-sized book. Useless retards... :p

Now go think about that, because the one not thinking is really easy to spot - he keeps asking silly pointless questions and never gets anywhere in life.

whats more amazing is when people with giant coconut-sized brains respond so condescendingly to a question asked by every single living person throughout the ages

does god exist? of course ... now ask me what god is, or better yet, ask yourself

FeenixRizin,

you seem to be hinting at some pantheistic belief.

Well, the original poster seems like a creationist ignoramus only reading his bible - and then tries to thump his naive, simlistic and narrow way of thinking onto the others... He deserves all the flaming he gets, and that's the end of it. People like him makes the world a bad place, because they extrapolate their ignorant beliefs on their surroundings. So I'm letting him burn at the stake, and enjoying the barbecue...

And as for philosophy --- I've got my share of reflections and am doing excellent - learning and discovering more every day, thank you. :p

Is your frustration and anger honestly and very superficially caused by people believing in a god or is it caused by people developing a moral sense from their own religion?

I would say religion causes more good than harm.

If you have a problem with people developing a good moral sense than I suggest you go look at yourself.

"deserves all the flaming he gets"..............

whose rule of law dictates that?

Quote from FeenixRizin:

I feel compelled to disclose my bias ... I FUCKING HATE THE GODLESS LEFT

Exactly what one would expect from a believer...intolerance, hate, judgment, etc.

How does it feel to be in the same company as the Islamic fascists?

NeoRio1,
see my previous posts and conversation swith e.g Iam.. (who signs with "Jesus") and elsewhere for that answer. I let people believe what they like.

The original poster threw down the gauntlet in a provocative way - and I flamed his flamebait. Simple. Deal with it however you like.

FeenizRizin,
hate as much you like. You are perhaps the typical religious bigot out there, who'd like to convert and subdue everyone around you. Newsflash - you are losing your "battle"... people are educating themselves and turning away from religion. Given your hate and intolerance - you are stereotyping yourself as a religious asshole. You are a political radical who extrapolates your inner beliefs and force it upon how others should behave and think. Fuck your moralistic and totalitarian fascist ways. :p
