Question for short players

I am a short sell player and I am wondering who is the best online firm or which clearing firm provides people like myself the best supply of stock in companies that are hard to short or are not on the easy to locate list? I have an account with IB and am not pleased with the lack of supply the firm has. I have a secondary account with Scottrade.......and let's just say it's impossible. I trade a lot of small cap and micro cap stocks as well as some OTCBB. If there are other short players out there, what firm(s) do you use? Who do they clear through?
 
Sorry, Dude, you're gonna be real disappointed in trying to short with a retail account. You've gotta go Pro or Prop to get a great short list. When I traded Prop, we'd just ask for the short, and get it within 30 minutes....sometimes less. Didn't matter how obscure the stock was either.
Best to think PUT options if you are retail.
