Question for ALL brokerage firms about this war

Right ;-) but your wife does?

You clearly never read any post from me. YOU are a Russian troll, not me. I am on the other side in this war.
Besides that, my accounts are already many years in the US and the origin of my money can be proven by my brokers. They know my identity, so I will have no problems at all.

I agree, sometimes things can take a few days to establish a new account or relationship or an initial transfer even in Canada & US. But what to worry? If the funds or account is legit then why worry? I am strictly speaking about your point on Canada and the US. I do see a point in alternative payment methods in war torn countries or nations under despotic leadership. However, western regulators will catch up to this soon because a lot of illegitimate money also moves in the same directions.
Couple things I have run up against. Smaller regional banks in the US won't accect a $US cheque drawn on a Canadian bank.
A US bank (Wells Fargo) Would not let me deposit cash into someone elses bank account. They would accept a cheque drawn on Canadian bank or I could have opened an account with cash and then transfered.(Something about money laundering) Too much regulation.

So it's all others who got it wrong?

That's what Putin and his fellow criminals say all the time. They are the good ones, the rest of the world, except of China, are the bad ones.

Lavrov detests the Western financial and moral decadency. But his step daughter is living a lavish life in London with the money Lavrov receives thru blackmailing the oligarchs.

Those things occasionally happened to me, too. However, I often noticed that it was for reasons of bank personnel being poorly trained and subsequently uninformed. The few times I ran into issues and the purpose of a payment was explained and my identification established then it worked out. But a few times certain banks had weird company specific regulations that went above and beyond regulations. For example IB does not allow the transfer of funds to another IB account if the two accounts are not in the same tax region. Perhaps too much paper work on their end but anyway, an annoyance not a real problem.

You got it the wrong way around.

You are an individual and claimed something while a majority thinks otherwise. Russia is a single state and does something that the majority disavows. Matching comparison. What you claim is the exact opposite. Please stop here, you are digging a deeper hole for yourself. Most of the times when a single person says A and a majority says B then very often if not almost always (with exceptions, for the literary deaf) the single person better re-evaluate statement A.
