Question about moving averages

What can you tell us about your intent going forward concerning the SQQQ?

short answer because I am about to sit down and practice guitar I will add to this later…

I bought 1000 shares this morning at 47.72, ran up fairly quickly so I sold it at 48.78 45 minutes later at about 10:30 AM. Re-answered the trade in the afternoon had a quick profit but wasn’t quick enough so I ended up selling it and making a few pennies not enough to even worth mention. The one thing I really try hard to do is not let green trades Turn into red trades. Like I said I’ll add some thoughts to this later. Basically thoughts on why I’m an idiot

What can you tell us about your intent going forward concerning the SQQQ?

I think like anything else, it’s a trading vehicle, that I might use from time to time. But it’s not something I want to hold for a month or more, as my understanding is that it doesn’t track well over long periods of time due to the compounding effect. I haven’t looked at a chart comparison with QQQ To verify that is the case, but I will. Over longer periods of time I might use PSQ, since there is no leverage, so no tracking issues.

I’m really using it just to protect my long positions, until the market trend changes.

2-10 day holds maybe, not much longer. If I had to say yes or no though, I’d say no, it’s just not that comfortable for me, I prefer in and out on a leveraged investment like that, and in and out is something I’m looking to do less of not more of.

I am trying to trade less, sometimes I feel like something is so obvious to me, like SQQQ this morning with QQQ about to break down, that I can’t resist.
Thus the “why I’m an idiot” comment.

I can’t say because the market has to tell me.
If the market holds around these levels (QQQ 290-300), then I’ll probably stay away from SQQQ, if it breaks down from here, all bets back on
