Hi all,
just a question on reading these information about inside trading. From reuters.com under insider trading; what does it mean when they it shows a "buy" under type but with a price much lower than market price at that time, (for example: for SII, the guy bought 700 shares shares at a price of $28.13) does that mean he exercised a call option? Also does it also mean that he exercised and actually sold the shares at market? In addition, when it says gift, does that mean the insider gave some of his share position to another, probably at a agreed price between them but can it be seen as the insider technically getting rid of his positions? Any held would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
