Question about IB???

I was looking at the Interactive broker site,, and i tryed to email them, and never got a reply and i phoned them like 10 times, nothin.
Maybe some of you can answer?

Say i want to open an account with IB, do i have to live in the USA, because i live in Canada. Will i still be able to day trade with IB if i live in Canada??????

Sorry for the dumb question, just cant find the answer..

Yea, ok but say i wana open an account with someone else, lets say, point direx, or any other direct acess account, does it matter that i live in Canada?????
 
A somehow related question:

I want to open a day trading account and I cannot decide between Interactive Brokers and TradeStation. Any suggestions?
If I go with IB, should I pay for Level 2, or get a different data provider altogether, and if yes, which one is a good features/price buy?
