question about bond futures day trading

Hello,

I am interested in getting involved in Bond Futures daytrading. Two quick questions:

1. How hard is it to get accepted as a customer at a discount futures firm? Do they scrutinize you heavily?

2. How hard is it to get the cheap bond futures day trading margins?

I would tremendously appreciate any thoughts.
