Cutten, I do trade thank you. I use to back floor traders on the Amex. Now they have all left as the Amex is just about dead. Basically I have discovered what a lot of guys have, that if you get invest some of your trading capital in other areas with similar returns, you can actually achieve the same results but with lower month to month volatility. Aaron Schindler actually made this point on this very thread and it was a good point. So I am always looking for other areas to put portions of my money.

When I was in Europe, I backed a lot of traders from The Kyte Group as I worked in a small proprietary division of the firm. I have always had great success in both trading my own account and parceling out money to other traders to trade. However, I'm no longer with the Kyte Group and like I said, the Amex is dead so now I'm looking to just invest money with small funds. Anyway, that's all.

SOMEONE PLEASE POST MONTHLY RETURNS NUMBERS FROM JANUARY TIL NOW FOR QUADRIGA FUNDS A AND B (THE ONES BEING MARKETED TO US INVESTORS). PLZ PLZ, IM LIKE BEGGING YOU :)
 
Would anyone like to talk about this recent drawdown in the Schindler fund? I see they were down 24% for July and are now down 38% YTD. This means that in the last 3 months the fund is down 58%. I don't want people to attack this fund or Aaron but rather a more general discussion about drawdowns and how this drawdown compares to similar funds.

Here is the question.....

Are the funds trading here in the US traded in the same manor (system) as the one's available in europe.

I would also like to point out that it is not uncommon for trendfollowing systems to have drawdowns of 20%, 25%, 30%, or more.
