Actually Quadriga was up about 15% or so in May and they are up nicely for the year. These 20% to 25% drawdowns are pretty typical. You should have seen it last year. All over the place. I kind of like drawdowns though if they can be controlled. It let's me know that these guys are at least shooting for some real returns.

hahahaha I wasn't rubbing it in; just ran across their perf. stats in futs magazine. Glad to hear you guys kicked-ass in May.

Hi damir00,

from my current knowledge no merging of funds has ever taken place at Quadriga. The Quadriga AG was setup in 1996 - basically a limited, Austrian partnership where an auditor added up the values of all positions, costs, earnings, etc. at the end of the month. The Quadriga GCT is a Luxembourg SICAV funds - Quadriga bought the SICAV from his former Austrian owner. While the Quadriga AG and the Superfunds hold all their (client's) assets in a Grenada Ltd. company, which again is valued by local authorities, the GCT's assets are held by a Luxembourg custodian. While you do not know of the whereabouts' of the assets in Grenada, the (segregated) assets of the GCTs are in Europe. If anyone is swimming naked, only the tide will show.

No link, personal e-mail that I get every week. They don't update the performance numbers on the web till the middle of the next month.
 
The website is updated very frequently intra month and gives May as 4.7% and even lists a return for June right now as 1.3%.

I can't get on thestreet.com (without subscribing or taking a test and that's not going to happen) to read the previously referenced article about Quadriga. Was it favorable?

PS. Even though I have no interest in placing thestreet.com into my favorites, Cramer's book was a good read.

PCanyon, I think you might be looking at the AG or GCT fund's in Europe. The Superfund in the US does not post intra month updates and they don't post performance results from the previous month until the middle of the next month. I hope this helps. My post was referring to the Superfund Series B.
