Why do you "expect" a drawdown?

Would it be reasonable to expect a near straight up line forever? I view waiting, like buying on a pullback in a trend. Is this silly?

Hello everyone.. I am new to this board and I am new to Superfund as well..

I think I have put my money at the worst time possible in this market.. I should have just waited a little bit more patiently.. Anyway.. what a drawdown they have this month...

What does everyone think about that? Good opportunity to get in?

Well, I went on record on this board saying to be careful to anyone that enters a trend following fund after it ran up 50% in 5 months. This drawdown is nothing really that unusual. They have this size drawdown every year. Last year they had it in April and May about the same percentage. No big deal really. Now is actually a good time to get in after this drawdown.
