How much volume do you have to trade in the QQQQ before liquidity starts to become a problem and you need to move into bigger markets?

I'm sorry to say I don't have the answer to your question but how about the Nasdaq E-mini NQ in CME?

That's plenty liquid and offers greater leverage than QQQQ or even QID for shorts.
