N nitrene Sep 10, 2013 #1 Why is there such a large spread between the ETF and the index? I see no such discrepancy between DIA & the Dow or SPY & S&P 500 Index. Is the QQQ not the same as the NASDAQ Composite? Is there a better way to invest in the Composite index?

FXforex Sep 10, 2013 #2 Could be slightly different percentage of holdings. Chart might not be accurate. The difference is so miniscule that it would be nothing to be concerned about.
