QQQ serves new purpose.

Now with single stock futures you can trade the QQQ's with more leverage and less margin requirements.

If you would like to start a new thread specifically for the QQQ's then lets see by way of vote.

The QQQs still serve a purpose. Which is thier original purpose - A way for people to buy a diversified basket of stocks that is representative of the total market, without have to buy the individual stocks.

Remember the majority of "the market" are investors, not traders.

Why not just trade NQ. It's the equivalent of 800 shares QQQ.

That's a great point!

I don't know why old habbits are so hard to break?
Some people are still stuck in the 1990's and can't get away from
trading the "Cubes".

I for one prefer the E-mini NASDAQ 100 Futures & the E-mini S&P 500 Futures.

So why post a thread "QQQ serves new purpose"...?
Answer: to see how many people out there are still trading the Q's and to see if I can successfully argue the fact that they would be better off in the NQ or the ES.
