Like the Q's have anything to do with 1999. PE's on companies in the q's aren't the same, and probably much lower. Apple leads higher, and market median pe around 14 is not an unreasonable valuation.

And clearly,QQQ had troubles in 2011 going past $60 area;
& was making some lower monthly candles ALSO.
And 50% off all time highs of $120 suggested[not predicted,LOL] more bearish trends.

Frankly plenty of players did not want to buy, with all the above bearish trends-- buy volume is trending down past year.

But looks like last OCT was a bear killer;
election year upside bias, both of which 2001 Stock Traders Almanac notes.

NOT a prediction, but Paul Tudor Jones figured this year would be like 1999.[Or even 2009 with 2 months down huge ]======nothing like a good uptrend. QQQwent up about 100% in 1999 valley to peak+ over 100% MAR/2000...………………………………………………..
