QE hurts the elderly

Quote from denner:

He's upset that I outted him about his man crush on Marketsurfer.

Just another socialist loser that doesn't even reside in the US. Seem to be alot of north of the border folks who cheer on the demise of this country.
Gabby has a man crush on Marketsurfer?

I thought he was head over heels in man love with Obama?

That Gabby sure does get around.

Quote from Tsing Tao:

why is printing money a "necessary" evil?
So congress can continue unabated spending on their bloated inept socialist programs none of which are even working. You silly boy.
:)

He breathlessly waits for each and every Marketsurfer post. Have you not seen his pitiful routine on the Journal thread?

He definitely wants to be Surfer's bitch.

ah, gotcha. a shame that gabfly cannot be engaged in an intelligent financial debate rather than simply trolling in a thread he/she has no business (knowledge) being in.

Quote from Tsing Tao:

so, i'm curious, gabfly. what about olias's post do you agree with? are you supporting his economic view or are you just anti-denner? i'm genuinely curious, because i'm looking to debate your (and his) economic views if you truly believe the fed's decision is the right one.
I have made my position on economics quite clear across many posts over time. Engaging in a circular "debate" with you would be just one more circle. Review my recent posts on Keynesian economics, taxation and spending and you will have as complete a picture as you will need for your purposes. I already know what you're all about.

this isn't about taxation and spending, and your previous discussions on Keynesian economics have never - to my knowledge - included the Federal Reserve or Quantitative Easing and their effects on inflation.

however, if you would like to correct my observation, i am welcome to you doing so. or you can just cop out and not answer.

is anyone watching this press conference Benny is hosting? what a joke. Liesman actually asked a decent question and followed it up with a jab, but Benny never answered it outside of the party line.

"inflation is rather subdued". hahahaha..a.....

Bernanke is an embarassment, he and Geithner are feeding the public the biggest crock of shit ever. Given the fact that 99% of people dont even understand what goes on with the Fed I have always wondered why they would lie so brazenly. The only people who pay attention to this are the people involved in finance, and it isnt like those 2 are fooling any of the people who know anything about finance, so what is the point of lying?
