QCharts Messed Up Today

AAA, Glad you finally got through this.. I also have weighed many times through the years what a better option for me, but I have always come back to qcharts simply because I haven't found anything nearly as suitable for my purposes

Not sure how large your account is.. but it might do you some benefit to have BOTH qcharts and another package. I know that usually when i get frustrated.. either from charts or my execution system.. it shows up in my p/l. I would rather just pay an extra 100-200 a month for a backup.

I do have another provider for stocks and another feed for futures, etc. I wouldn't advise anyone to rely on just one data source.

Is it the hotlists in qcharts that keeps you subscribing? How do use them?

In part, but mainly because I am used to them, I like not having to screw around with backfill, switching charts for daily or intraday, the general ease of use and intuitive interface. I like a product that is organized around workspaces.

I am not a heavy indicator user. Other apps are probably better.

Maybe you can help me with a couple of items. Is there an indicator on ver. 6.0 that warns you when it is lagging? That was very useful on the older version. Canyu switch servers or does the esig feed do it automatically?

Yeah i initially missed that... But as far as I can tell, they took that feature out. Now i just match the quotes with my execution software to see if their is a lag. You can still do the ctrl-atl-n to switch servers. But it also does it automatically if it finds a faster server. But i don't use the ctrl-alt-n feature that much compared to the old days.
