Qcharts Free Trial

Oh well, qcharts is making a push for more new customers. That can only mean one thing in the next few months, clogged and slow servers:(

I can no longer deal with the data lockup problems on the LiveCharts package. I guess you get what you pay for so I am looking for another package. This is absurd.

Any recommendations??? THIA.

I have been using QCharts since October 1999. Well over a year ago, I became disillusioned with their data integrity and began shopping around, testing other charting software. Since that time, QCharts has improved and I am quite pleased with it. I trade only ES using 1-minute charts. When there is a delay in QCharts as compared to the streaming data that I get from the PATSystem J-Trader order entry platform, I just press Ctrl+Alt+N to change servers. On balance, I'm quite pleased with QCharts and found it to be better than a couple of other more expensive packages that I have tried.

One of the unique features of QCharts, aside from the incredible ease of use, is the historical intraday data available. It goes back more than 2 years. When I last looked, well over a year ago, I did not find any other real time data vendor with so much back data on an intraday basis.

Again, my reference point is the mini indexes traded on the CME. I cannot comment on QCharts' data integrity for other markets.

Thunderdog
