Q3-2016 earnings trades

The next couple of weeks are going to be busy earnings weeks. Last quarter was a great earnings season for those that employ neutral strategies. We'll see how this quarter fares.

NFLX and IBM report tonight. I've initiated a long calendar (Oct21/28 100 call) on NFLX and a short put ratio on IBM.

Anyone else dipping their toes into earnings?

JPM showed decent earnings, but the market doesn't care ☺ Waiting for Apple earnings, imo gonna go to $110 again.

NFLX calendar was a dud. Closed for a nickel yesterday. IBM put ratio worked well which I closed today for a little profit. Opened up a couple of short straddles on AXP and EBAY for tonight.
